Megan and I arrived in Arizona the day before yesterday. The heat was incredible. You thought Florida was hot? Try an Arizona summer. Egads. It got up to 118 degrees.
Cheryl picked us up at the airport on 6/27 and took us straight to her house. We are stayed at her place for the first two nights and got to visit with everyone. We took taxis to a local tavern and had margaritas on Friday night. This morning, Saturday, she took took us to the Hermosa Inn in Scottsdale. This is where the wedding will be held tomorrow, as well as the reception.
The Inn is beautiful. When we walked in the room we heard nice music playing. There was a huge sitting area, a gorgeous stone fireplace, a beautiful four poster bed and a bathroom to die for.
We didn't have a car, so we decided to walk up to the restaurant, LONS which is on the premises.
Megan and I had a wonderful dinner. We joked throughout dinner how quaint this place is. It was jut too bad it was the two of us sharing the pretty four poster bed and romantic dinners. Honestly, I had more fun with Megan here then I would ever had with Mark.
Tomorrow is the wedding. I'm so looking forward to it.
