46. Superwoman, Packing and Storing

I had planned for a week to go to my house on Thursday to get as much as I could before Mark was 'served.'  So, on Tuesday I rented a 5x10 storage shed.  They had a special that gave you a truck with your first rental for free.  I was happy about the free rental. I need to save money wherever I can right now.

I had not told Mark ahead of time that Megan and I were coming out.  On Wednesday, the before we were scheduled to go there I started receiving emails from Mark:

40. Mr. Hyde Makes His Thoughts Known

Today is Martin Luther King's birthday.  Chris took the day off to spend with his mom who is still visiting from Australia.  It was very slow at the shop as most companies and agencies are closed.  We decided to close the shop at 1:30 PM since we didn't have any calls.  I figured it would be a good morale booster for the guys.  I also thought it would give me a chance to go back to the house and keep on cleaning.  After being at the house cleaning on Saturday I could plainly see what I was up against.  So, I took long rubber gloves and a mask with me.

I could tell something was not quite right from the moment I arrived.  Mark was not the jovial Dr. Jekyl from Saturday.  I tried to brush it off that I might just be paranoid.  He asked me to take him to the store to get some groceries.  You need to remember he has no cash, no debit card (he lost it), no drivers license (he lost it), and no real usable vehicle.  I don't know if I previously mentioned that he blew up the engine of his car.

38. Cleaning Day - Saturday - Part 1 - Daytime (Warning - Graphic Intensive)

WARNING! GRAPHIC INTENSIVE!

We have come to relate Mark's moods to the Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde mode. When he is happy and agreeable he is in his Dr. Jekyl mode.  When he is angry and hateful he is in his Mr. Hyde mode.  Lately most of the time he is in the Mr. Hyde mode.

I had talked to Mark and he sounded 'happy' and was in the Dr. Jekyl mode.  Against my better judgement - and the advice of all of my friends and family - I went out to the house today.  I know if we do not clean up the mess the house will never be sold.  I decided to give it a shot.

Since you haven't seen the house since I left, these pictures will give you a 'little' idea what I am up against.

Here are some pictures of my beautiful house.
